Once she settles in, Sousoula gathers Bryan, Freya, and Tika at her feet and launches into a hilarious, time‑traveling crash course on Haitian culture. She takes them back through history, from ancestral pride to the artistry of the flag makers, from beloved food traditions to the deeper meaning behind Haiti’s richness and resilience. By the end of the night, Bryan is overwhelmed, Freya is inspired, and Tika is taking notes,  because when Haitian legacy walks through the door, everyone sits up straight.
